• If you're using an online common application you simply need to add your counselor as a "Recommender".  The website will end them an email and they will upload your transcript to your profile.  Some of the most common online services that students use are:

ACT Academy

ACT Academy is a free, online learning tool designed to help you master the skills you need to improve your ACT scores and succeed in college and career.  when you register with a fee waiver you're eligible for the ACT Rapid Review All Access.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy will create a free and tailored practice plan for you based on a diagnostic or your SAT or PSAT/NMSQT® scores.

• Used for the HOPE Scholarship
     o 3.0 HOPE GPA
     o Covers a portion of standard tuition up to 15 credit hrs
• Used for the Zell Miller Scholarship
     o 3.7 HOPE GPA
     o 1200 SAT or 26 ACT
     o Full standard tuition up to 15 credit hrs

• Mainly used for college admissions and scholarships
• The GPA listed in Infinite Campus is your GPA as of the   
   end of last school year
      o Counselors are not allowed to tell you your class rank

Need help completing the FAFSA?  Feel free to schedule an appointment with Ms. Brenda Vaughn.  She's the Newton County representative from the Georgia Student Finance Commission.  Outreach representatives provide middle and high schools, colleges, churches, and other community-based organizations knowledge about resources available in order to make college affordable and cost-effective.
